Delphine GIGOUX-MARTIN (1972)
Lives and works in France

At once drawing, sculpture, installation, image, video, tapestry, the works of Delphine Gigoux-Martin offer like open structures where the multiplied glances follow the impetuous and precise lines of a drawing in suspense. Here, isolated animals in action cohabit with discreet animations of creatures in motion. There, posed or embroidered, porcelains, like indispensable counterpoints to their desires.

Delphine Gigoux-Martin was the winner of the public commission for the Saint-Etienne-Cantalès dam (Cantal), which will be inaugurated in June 2021.
In the last two years, her work has been exhibited at the Jenisch Museum, Vevey, Switzerland, at the Montélimar Museum of Contemporary Art, at the Cistercian Abbey of Escaladieu, at the Xie Zilong Museum of Photography, China, at the Maison Rouge Museum, Saint-Jean du Gard, at the Calbet Museum, Grisolles, at the Centre d'art Société L'émulation, Liège, at the Atelier Blanc, Villefranche de Rouergue, at the Fondation Villa Datris, Isle-sur-Sorgue, at the Lamour Museum, Hangzhou, China, at the CAC of the Abbaye Sainte Croix, Meymac.
In 2022, she realized: "an order for a dune" for The Forest of Contemporary Art, Cazali. That same year, four solo exhibitions are dedicated to her: at La Fabrique, Université J. Jaurès Toulouse, at the Musée Mandet - Musée d'Auvergne, Riom, at the Domaine de Chamarande and at the Claire Gastaud gallery.
